My next step I feel may be reinstalling my Windows 10, but I don't want to lose everything since I just restored everything a few months ago. We havent found any information on using that product with anything but its own software, nor have we found any other hardware that can capture such a thing. I'm at a complete loss, and I'm getting more and more lost. Were wondering if its possible to capture the video stream from Elgatos Game Capture HD (or something similar-the model/brand doesnt matter) and get it in a window using C.

I'm using it to watch TV on my PC through an HDMI splitter that removes HDCP. I've never had an issue before, and this literally started out of nowhere, for no reason.
I can add my Youtube account to the Elgato software without any problem.
Oddly enough, I can see the Elgato Capture HD software added to my account on the Twitch website as an approved connection. My account never shows up in the account list on the Capture Software. The Application had to be closed." Then after I click "OK," the software opens up as a "Beta" version, then opens up the streaming layout menu, and sits there waiting to connect. Afterwards, I hit 'Authorize' and then the window dissappeared. Every time I start the program, I get the error "An unexpected error occurred in Game Capture HD. I even unplugged everything from my PC, opened my PC up, and cleaned the inside, but nothing seems to work. I've reinstalled, uninstalled to reboot to reinstall, tried older versions, tried downloading older drivers, tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. I was simply watching TV through my Elgato's Game Capture HD software as always, until it decided to start throwing me this error. There were no updates, upgrades, or anything of the sort (at first).
